Center of Excellence in Visual Intelligence (CEVI)

The Centre of Excellence in Visual Intelligence (CEVI) at KLE Technological University focuses on developing cutting-edge AI solutions to address real-world challenges. It specializes in visual intelligence research for both 2D and 3D data, spanning tasks like image restoration, synthetic data generation, classification, detection, tracking, scene understanding and multimodal data analysis across domains such as Digital Heritage, Agriculture, and Smart Manufacturing. CEVI also integrates Extended Reality (XR) for immersive research presentations and fosters impactful academia-industry collaborations. Through its partnership with Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, CEVI established the Student Ecosystem for Engineered Data (SEED) lab, creating a vibrant ecosystem for students to innovate in the field of visual intelligence.

The Centre for AI Research (CAIR) at KLE Technological University is committed to building a thriving research community focused on developing intelligent solutions leveraging Edge AI, High-Performance Computing, Data Science, and Cloud Technologies. The Centre for Intelligent Mobility (CIM) at KLE Technological University is dedicated to shaping the future of transportation to ensure safer, efficient, and eco-friendly mobility. Its goal is to facilitate technological advancement and spearhead research initiatives within the domains of perception and control (ADAS/AD), Communication, and Security. ADAS /AD technologies form the backbone of safer driving experiences, and the center focus is on leveraging AI/ML algorithms to assist drivers in navigating traffic, avoiding collisions, and managing various road conditions in real-world scenarios. Security is of paramount concern in the realm of intelligent mobility. Connectivity lies at the heart of modern transportation, and our center is at the forefront of integrating vehicles into a connected ecosystem. Research collaboration with industries like, NVIDIA, LTTS and BOSCH has elevated the research profile of the CIM.

EV Innovation Centre

The Electric Vehicle Innovation Center (EVIC) at KLE Technological University is a pioneering hub dedicated to the research and development of next-generation electric vehicle technologies. Our center brings together students, faculty, and industry experts to address pressing challenges in the EV ecosystem, such as enhancing battery efficiency and integrating EVs with renewable energy grids. The center is committed to advancing sustainable mobility by driving innovation in electric vehicle technology. Our mission is to lead in research, education, and industry collaboration, focusing on battery technology, EV charging infrastructure, and grid integration solutions. EVIC is dedicated to creating a cleaner, smarter, and more connected future for transportation.

Center for Integrated Circuits and Systems(CICS)

The Center for Integrated Circuits and Systems (CICS) at KLETECH envisages to foster innovation and excellence in VLSI Design, Mixed Signal SoC Design and Verification, DFT and IP Development with a specific emphasis on building a strong vertical in the domain of Advanced Packaging Analysis/ Design and 2.5D/ 3D System Integration.The center offers Industry Standard Skilling Programs, Internship/ Projects to the academia and corporates, engaging industry leaders for training, consultancy, and technical collaboration.

Deeply engaged in developing novel functional materials to address critical challenges across the industry and society.

3).Centre of Excellence in Energy and Environment (CEEE):

The research focuses on pure hydrogen production via catalytic membrane technology in energy conversion through electro catalytic and photo catalytic water splitting, integrated waste treatment and energy resource recovery with sustainable Bio-electrochemical systems (BES), and super capacitors.

4).Centre for Intelligent Mobility

Nvidia, LTTS: The research focuses on perception and navigation, V2X communication, and secured connectivity.

5).Electric Vehicle Innovation Centre (EVIC)

LTTS: The research focuses on smart e-drive systems, battery management, and charging infrastructure with the distribution grid.

6).Centre for Intelligence Solutions for Healthcare Applications (C-ISHA):

The research focuses on computer vision for medical diagnosis and treatment, acquisition, integration, and analysis of medical data, as well as disease-specific analysis and interventions to promote faster, reliable, and economical healthcare solutions.
