KLE CTIE
KLE Technological University (KLE Tech) has its roots in one of the premier engineering institutions of Karnataka, B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVB), a prestigious engineering college in Hubli. KLE Tech has proven to be one of the top universities for startup creation over the past few years. A new entrepreneurial and innovation culture is hallmark of KLE Tech campus.. This cultural movement was catalyzed by ‘Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ (CTIE) through formal and informal activities across the campus.

KLE CTIE was started at the KLE Technological University with the vision “To be a pioneer – to –foster, enable and grow the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in tier-II cities in India” The centre has incubated 139+ companies on its campus in various domains like VLSI, ESDM, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, ML, ITES, FoodTech, MedTech, AgriTech, EduTech, Automation and Robotics.
CTIE in a nutshell
KLE – CTIE, which is a University nodal centre for the promotion of Entrepreneurship, is recognised as a ‘Technology Business Incubator (TBI)’ by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Tide 2.0 G2 Centre by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), and NIDHI Seed Support Centre by DST. We have collaborated extensively with GoK & IESA to roll out Hubli ESDM eXchange (HEX) - an ESDM specific Incubation Centre.
KLE-CTIE was honoured with the Social Initiative of the Year award under TiECON 2022.
